In the post-COVID-19 world, global mental health issues have become increasingly prominent and become an issue that cannot be ignored in the field of public health. To explore the impact of the pandemic on mental health and strategies to respond, the World Health Organization (WHO) recently held a series of webinars on mental health and the post-COVID-19 situation. The aim of these workshops is to improve the ability of clinicians worldwide to identify, diagnose and treat post-COVID-19 conditions (also referred to as Long Covid).
The latest webinar will be held July 24-26, 2024, and will discuss the impact of long-term COVID on mental health and how clinicians can recognize symptoms and support patients in their recovery.
This webinar provided a valuable platform for global mental health experts and practitioners to not only deepen understanding of post-COVID-19 mental health challenges, but also foster collaboration and innovation on a global scale. Facing the future, building a healthier and more inclusive society requires the joint efforts and sustained attention of each of us.
